Take Brittany is a cross-curricular digital resource used to develop French and intercultural understanding at Key Stages 1 and 2.

Each unit focuses on an aspect of Breton culture and encourages children to reflect on similarities and differences with their own culture.

The units include step-by-step teaching notes, a PowerPoint slideshow, a video and a set of digital practice activities to support French language teaching and learning. At the end of each video children from Ecole Sanquer, a school in Brittany, complete a creative activity which can then be recreated by the English children.
